WHY MDP?

MDP@1500-0162.jpg

Aside from being the premier dance studio in the Riverside County offering incredible training for all ages and levels, Murrieta Dance Project is a one of a kind studio that truly cares about our dancers.  Here at MDP we are raising human beings before raising dancers.  Giving our dancers the tools to succeed in all areas of life while also teaching them to hold themselves accountable will translate in all future endeavors.

MDP is More than Dance…we teach our dancers that they have the Power and it lives within.

Dancer Report Cards

Each instructor will take the time to give some important feedback for parents and dancers.  Our goal here at Murrieta Dance Project is to help your child progress throughout each season, gain self-confidence and have a solid understanding of how to continue to rise to his/her fullest potential.  Dancers will receive two report cards each season.  Report cards will be sent out in Dec/Jan and in June/July.  These report cards will be an in-depth explanation of each dancer’s progress and how to continue on the path to success.

Monthly Newsletter

Miss Susan Barnett Lopez, MDP’s Artistic Director is the editor of MDP’s Monthly Newsletter.  This fun and interactive newsletter will give parents and dancers a chance to see what goes on at Murrieta Dance Project.  Each age group will have pictures and videos highlighting class moments each month.  There are contests, student recognition, birthday announcements and so much more!  The newsletter will be sent out via Jack Rabbit the first week of each month from August- June and will live on the NEWS section of the MDP website.

Ballet Exams

The Ballet Department headed by MDP’s Ballet Director, Miss Chloe Verkinder, will hold 1-2 ballet exams each season.  Students will be tested on essential elements to help further their ballet training and to give important feedback that will help our dancers set goals and understand the importance of their ballet training.

After the exams Miss Chloe will personally meet with every dancer and parent to go over the exams. Stay tuned for Season 16 exam dates.

Incentive Walls

Being kind, driven, determined, pushing forward, loving one another, going for it, not setting limits, working hard and so much more is what we teach our dancers here at Murrieta Dance Project.  Our incentive walls are one way to show our dancers that “we see them.”

We hope we can welcome you to our family!  We are always here to answer any questions.
